Remote Leaning Provision Bleakhouse Primary School
Please find information below about the Remote Learning Provision. Government Guidance states that Primary school children should receive a minimum of 3 hours remote learning per day.
6th, 7th and 8th January. A three day remote learning work pack is available to view on the website: Children Tab – Covid 19 Learning for each year group. A paper copy can also be collected from the school office for all year groups.
From Monday 11th January. Remote Learning will be accessed via the school website / App: Homework section, you will need to make sure you are logged on, using your id and password (same as the school life app). If you do not haveyour logon details please contact the school office on 0121 422 2841.
Each class will need to follow the class timetable. A detailed remote learning plan will be uploaded daily to include: Learning Objectives for each subject, website links, activities to be completed, recorded lessons and live streamed lessons.
Teachers will be available from 9.00am to 3.00pm to respond to any queries or concerns that
parents/carers have, provide feedback to the children about their learning and set more challenging tasks or further their learning via the year group email address.
Remote learning has been organised into Upper KS2 – Years 5 and 6, Lower KS2 – Years 3 and 4, KS1 –Year 1 and 2 and Early Years – Reception and Nursery. This will ensure that home learning reflects in school provision and will be differentiated to age related expectations in line with the National Curriculum to meet your child’s learning needs.
Paper copies of the remote learning for the week will be available to collect from the school office each Monday after 12noon.
Please see the attached sheet for Parents with further information regarding home Learning Provision at Bleakhouse Primary School. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact the school.
