Health Week
What an active week it has been!
The KS2 children have started everyday with a morning aerobics session, both KS1 and EYFS have also done their daily aerobics in the afternoon.
There have been visits by Cadent to explain the dangers of carbon monoxide to Year 2, West Bromwich Building Society to explain about financial education to Years 5 and 6 and Years 1, 2 and 4 have received education about tobacco and alcohol from DECCA.
The children have taken part in a sporting activity everyday, including interclass competitions and a Childhood Mile to raise money for the NSPCC.
Children in KS1 have been learning about healthy eating and healthy menus. In addition, Year 6 have led a range of fun filled events, including a penalty shoot out, a Nursery party with Peppa Pig, a Reception party with Paw Patrol and ‘a pie in the Face’.
The children deserve a very relaxing weekend. Below are some pictures for you to enjoy from the week.
